High up by the summit cross, the horizon appears never-ending, giving you an infinite feeling of freedom; while down in the valley the grass in the meadows is stirred by the wind, the farmhouses seem to tell ancient stories and the lakes beguile you with their crystal clear water.

A holiday in Antholz is really the perfect answer for lovers of nature, peace and relaxation.

You can walk along the many trails through the meadows, surrounded by the evocative mountain scenery of the Rieserferner-Ahrn Natural Park. Or you can re-invigorate both your body and mind in the lovely tranquil setting of Lake Antholz.

In winter, many visitors are attracted by the Biathlon World Cup, which takes place annually in the South Tyrol Arena in Antholz, and are also drawn to nearby Kronplatz, known as “Italy’s no.1 ski resort”. The Riepenlift ski lift at Antholz Mittertal takes you up just 1600 metres and so is particularly suitable for families.

In winter, you will find your hosts on these slopes, in their roles as ski instructor (Marlies) and biathlon and cross-country ski instructor (Christian).
